Since 1988 Friedland Global Capital Markets (FGCM) and its affiliated companies have been active in assisting North American companies in achieving their objectives in Asia and Asian companies in achieving their financial and business objectives in North America.
Based on the success that FGCM has had with its corporate finance operations in China (www.friedlandchina.com), in August 2007 FGMC initiated a strategy to provide similar services to Indian companies, and is specifically positioned to assist privately-held and listed Indian companies to achieve their corporate finance, business and financial objectives in the United States and Europe.
Friedland Global Capital Markets' services for Indian companies include:
- Assisting existing Indian companies whose shares trade in India or in Asia with the creation of an American Depositary Receipt Program in the United States.
- Assisting Indian companies who have US American Depositary Receipt Programs with increasing the interest and involvement by US and investors in their companies ADRs, and achieving their corporate finance, financial and business objectives in the United States.
- Assisting privately-held Indian companies in "going public" and having their shares trade in the US markets. FGMC has designed a "Fast-Track" program for privately-held Indian companies to become publicly-traded in the United States.
